Congratulations Dr Erin Getty!

The lab got off to a great start in 2026 with Erin successfully defend her PhD thesis on Friday Jan 16th in Queen’s University Belfast!

Her thesis, entitled "Inflammasomes and interferons: new insights into the innate immune response to RSV and SARS-CoV-2 infection in airway epithelial cells" was examined by Prof Andrew Bowie and Prof Louise Cosby and supervisor in QUB by Professor Ultan Power and Dr Rebecca Coll.
